Opportunity

Currently, the town of Wilmington and the community of Haystack lack a swim and exercise facility to complement the golf course, ski area and other recreational assets. The developers of Haystack Highlands have proposed to donate 1.75 acres (including the existing tennis courts) on Mann Road for the development of this swim/gym facility. In addition to donating the land, the developers have invested in the design and permitting of a recreational facility, which would complement the existing tennis courts. As currently planned, the club would offer the following unique features:

  1. Club House

•  Exercise Room (weights and cardio equipment)

•  Multi-purpose Room (meetings, parties, kitchen equipment)

•  Locker Rooms

•  Game Room

  2. Pool

•  Heated Indoor/Outdoor pool (retractable roof).

•  Large Hot tub

3. Tennis Courts

•  Two Tennis Courts (existing)
